On Bangladesh's southeast coast is a town called Cox's Bazar. From Sea Beach in the north to Kolatoli Beach in the south, it has a very long, sandy beachfront that is well-known. Bronze statues and centuries-old Buddhist texts can be found in the Aggameda Khyang monastery. Waterfalls and a variety of wildlife can be found in Himchari National Park, a tropical rainforest south of the city. Sea turtles nest nearby Sonadia Island in the north.
