Marrakesh is known as the "red city" and the oldest one in Morocco. The magic of this city is unmatched for many decades. The name of Marrakesh originates from “amurkush” (Land of God).
It is founded by Youssef Ibn Tachfine who tried to promote the Islamic religion.
The city will impress you with narrow passageways, Riad, Verdure, Montagne, and a variety of races among the local people. This is a place with a wide range of delicious food and beautiful sights to visit. Parks, parties, and theatres welcome you throughout the city. But you should remember about the extremely dry climate, so don't forget to have a water reserve just in case in your bag.
